God is looking for a Holy people.  Are you determined to be Holy?  We need 4 things: justification, santification, consecration and purification.

Justification: Rightness that results in an action of God.  Where we are set in a right relationship with God.  Vindicated and declared right by Him.

Sanctification: Process of being made holy, resulting in a changed life (Hagiou - Greek for Holy) (Ka-dosh - Jewish for Holy)

Consecration: Separated for the use of the Lord.  Waiting on God to obey his command.  Presenting of ourselves as priests of God.  In the old testament, Aaron's sons were anointed with the blood of the ram by Moses in 3 places, the ear, thumb, and toe.  Ear represents hearkening to the Word of the Lord, thumb represents doing the will of the Lord, toe represents walking in the Lord's path.  We are to offer ourselves as instruments of righteousness.

Purification: cleansing, sanitation, decontamination, refinement.  Leviticus 1 shows a picture of what an offering should be a model of cleansing, blood and burning.  We too must go through this process and have a continual serving attitude, and die to ourselves daily.

Holiness is not about what we can do deed wise.  We can only be holy by God's doing and who we are, the deeds come as fruits of who we are in Christ, but they do not make us holy.
